Drybar - El Segundo

The blowouts here are hit or miss, could be phenomenal or terrible. The bigger problem? I have never once been seated before 20 min past my appointment time. After the 3rd time of this happening in 3 weeks, I spoke with the front desk person. They were apologetic and noncommittal as to how to ensure it doesn't happen again. Here's the the thing, if you're running 30 min behind, text me. Call me. Send a flare. But don't disrespect my time and try to enforce your late policy when I'm less than 5 min late. Unfortunately post COVID, choices are limited. This location capitalizes

My stylist was very nice.... but the price! I booked for a dry style at 9am for a wedding I was going to in the evening (price is $35) I asked if I had to pick a style from their menu or if I could show a picture of what I wanted. I was informed a picture was fine. I had a simple pinned back braid with loose curls My stylist said I would be charged extra since it was considered an "up-do" (I'm not entirely sure how a pinned back braid is considered an up-do but I agreed) Flash forward to check out.... my total is $65, and they called it their Uptini. I was so shocked, I just paid in the moment and left at 9:32am I'm honestly frustrated that a less than 30min style could cost $65, especially when the extra charge wasn't presented to me? I was expecting an extra $15, not double the price I saw online

I went to this Drybar and my stylist was Lesly who I think is new. She was so amazing and did an awesome job on my hair. I was so relaxed that I can’t wait to go back and request her. Thank you Lesly for an awesome job!!

Today I walked in to the DryBar with curly hair that was dry and looked a hott mess.. And I walked out looking like a hair model.. I had an amazing hair girl by the name of Alita who took excellent care of my hair.. I am grateful and thankful.. 🤗

Kind and helpful staff but this store is always understaffed and its hard to book an appointment and when you do there is usually a wait sometimes 10-20 min.
